This week was my first week back to work. I knew I was going to be busy, but I had no idea how busy and tired I would end up being! It didn't help that on my first day back I was called in to the principal's office for a not so pleasant meeting. Then Tuesday night I had to stay until 8:00 p.m. for professional development. The rest of my week was pretty uneventful, but it sure seemed like the longest week ever! I thought I would be okay when I dropped Isaiah off at Becky's on Monday morning. I never thought I would cry.
But he got the biggest "boo boo" face when I went to kiss him good-bye. It was really pitiful, he stuck out his lower lip and everything! I had to hold him again and I couldn't help from crying, too. Thankfully Becky took our picture before I cried..... I'm glad that I leave a camera in my diaper bag. Becky has done a good job of taking plenty of pictures while I'm at work. It really helps me feel like I'm not missing out on what's going on during his day.
